The uncle of the San Fernando man who died last week following the hit-and-run collision made an emotional plea for the driver and anyone else with information to come forward.
Los Angeles police are seeking a black, four-door sedan — possibly a BMW — that is believed to have struck Hernandez, on the night of Oct. 6 as he was walking on Gladstone Avenue south of Bledsoe Street, Los Angeles Police Department Detective William Bustos of the Valley Traffic Division said.
Two people traveling on horseback on Gladstone Avenue came across the victim, who was lying on his back while complaining of injuries and asking for help. The riders called 911 and Hernandez was taken to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on Oct. 19.
Anyone who may have witnessed or have information regarding this collision is urged to call Investigator Fredo at (818) 644-8037, or Detective III Bustos at (818) 644-8021.
